How do I use my MooD Body Scrub?

Apply to wet skin in circular motions using desired pressure. The organic cane sugar will gently remove dead skin cells and help clean out your pores. If desired, leave on for a few minutes to let the nourishing properties of the scrub work their magic. Rinse and pat dry with a towel to leave a moisturising and healing layer of the organic oils on your skin.

How often should I use my MooD Body Scrub?

2-3 times a week will leave your skin feeling silky and smooth.

Can I use my MooD Body Scrub on my face?

We don't recommend that you use it on your face as it can be a bit harsh for the delicate skin on your face. Some people also find the oils a bit rich for their face. If you do decide to give it a try, scrub very gently and test a small area first.

Is my MooD Body Scrub all organic and natural?

Yes, each ingredient in each of our Body Scrubs is natural and organic!

I am pregnant, can I still use my MooD Body Scrub?

It's always best to be safe and consult your doctor before using any product with essential oils in it if you are pregnant.

Are there any preservatives in my MooD Body Scrub?

No, we don't use any artificial preservatives in our Body Scrubs. The coconut oil and essential oils in our Body Scrubs have natural preservative properties already in them. However it is important to follow the below care instructions to prevent any nasties from getting in.

How do I store and care for my MooD Body Scrub?

It is important to store your MooD Body Scrub out of direct sunlight. When using your Body Scrub try to avoid getting water into the jar to prevent it from going rancid. If you do, don't panic, just try and tip or scoop as much of it out as possible.

My MooD Body Scrub has gone firm, what do I do?

Natural products sometimes do require a little more care but they are totally worth it! If your Body Scrub goes hard in cold weather simply break it up with a spoon or sit the jar in a jug of warm water until the oils have softened.

Why is my Mood Body Scrub in a glass jar?

At MooD we are committed to making the most sustainable packaging choices possible! For us that rules out anything that can not be recycled or reused. Glass jars are great because they keep your Body Scrub safe from potential contaminants and, when you have finished your Body Scrub, they can be reused for other items around your house. 

Are the coffee grounds and raw cane sugar in my MooD Body scrub ethically sourced?

Yes, both our raw cane sugar, and our coffee grounds, are ethically sourced and guaranteed fair trade.
